Welcome

We appreciate your visit to the official website of the Reformed Presbyterian Church North East India (RPCNEI) — a federation of 99 local churches faithfully serving in the states of Manipur, Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Tripura.

Our churches stand firmly in the Reformed tradition of the sixteenth century, rooted in the authority of Scripture and the sovereignty of God. Our first churches were founded on April 8, 1979, in Manipur, and since then, the Lord has graciously expanded our reach across the region.

Belief

We hold firmly to the Reformed faith, grounded in Scripture and guided by historic confessions, proclaiming God’s sovereignty, salvation by grace, and Christ as the only head of the Church.

Worship

Our churches gather each Lord’s Day to worship God reverently, through preaching, prayer, singing, and sacraments, exalting Christ and edifying believers in Spirit and in truth.

Study

We encourage members to grow in faith through Bible study, theological training, and Christian education, equipping believers to understand and live out God’s Word in daily life.

Publication

We produce faithful Christian resources and publications to teach, inform, and inspire believers in sound doctrine, church life, and spiritual growth rooted in the historic Reformed tradition.

History

The RPCNEI began on April 8, 1979, in Manipur. Since then, the Lord has blessed us to expand across Northeast India, grounded in the Reformation heritage and biblical truth.

Mission

We are a missional church, called to proclaim the gospel, disciple nations, and serve communities, so that Christ is known, loved, and followed in Northeast India and beyond.

Organisation

Our federation comprises autonomous local churches working together in theological unity, mutual support, and shared mission, governed by presbyteries and guided by biblical principles and Reformed polity.

Unity

We cherish spiritual unity among churches in faith, worship, and mission, fostering accountability, cooperation, and love as one body under Christ, our Lord and Head.
